LEADER
Gene is a Marine Corps veteran who has received four meritorious promotions for his leadership abilities by the age of 19. Gene is the author of Semper Fidelis Leadership: From The Corps to the Corporation which was the result of embedding with the 2nd Marine Division in Al Anbar Province Iraq in 2005 then again in 2007 representing the Long War Journal, the premier publication on the Global War On Terror.
Gene is the founder of the Semper Fidelis Leadership™ Institute which is devoted to training crisis leaders who are spiritually grounded, mentally tough and physically skilled to be able to decide, communicate and execute in high-speed, high-stress chaotic environments.

ENTREPRENEUR
At the age of 28, Gene founded his first multi-million-dollar company, a broadcast and telecommunications service firm, building towers up to 2,000 feet in the air. Gene has served in various C - Level roles for companies in which he’s had a stake ranging from a Google Analytics Partner to a geospatial firm, to a third-party logistics company, to a financial services firm which arranged financing for over 4,000 small businesses.
Gene’s latest venture is Capital Works, which he co-founded. Capital Works empowers business advisors and intermediaries to meet their clients’ growth, capitalization, and exit objectives and efficiently close perfectly-matched transactions with Capital Providers via the only intelligent, end-to-end Capital Transaction Management platform in the marketplace. After only 19 months of operations, Capital Works was sold to a Fortune 500 Company.

ADVISOR
In 2015, Gene joined Boldmore Growth Partners, LLC to lead Boldmore’s Business Advisory Group. Boldmore offers solutions, resources, and advisory services to entrepreneurs, business owners, and private equity investors. Over his career, Gene has personally advised over 200 clients.

Gene is passionate in his support of wounded veterans and volunteers with Carry The
Load, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing back the true meaning of Memorial Day. Gene is a leader in men’s ministry at his church and speaks at men’s conferences. Gene is married to the love of his life, Shelia, and they have two grown married children and eight grandchildren.
